Located in the southernmost portion of the Cleveland metro area, Broadview Heights offers quick access to essentials and an easygoing suburban atmosphere. New residents continue to flock to this city of over 19,500 people because of its tree-lined streets, quiet neighborhoods, excellent schools, outdoor amenities, and cultural attractions. Being 15 minutes away from downtown Cleveland, Broadview Heights offers an attractive home location that’s perfect for a range of lifestyle preferences. In 1811, land surveyor Seth Paine was awarded about 200 acres of land in the southwest corner of the old Brecksville Township, the area where modern-day Broadview Heights would eventually rise. Since then, Broadview Heights has grown by leaps and bounds, consistently attracting industries to invest in the city. Top employers like Ohio Caterpillar, Zimmer Biomet, and Sotera Health have established a presence in the city while providing local job opportunities and fueling a thriving economy.
