Lyndhurst is a small city located about 17 miles from Cleveland in Cuyahoga County. It spans 4.44 square miles along the Interstate 271 corridor. A small town with big city amenities

Lyndhurst was incorporated in 1917 and became a city in 1951. Part of the village was originally part of Mayfield Township. Despite being one of the smaller suburbs in Greater Cleveland, the city is jam-packed with amenities and outdoor attractions.
These include Legacy Village, a lifestyle and shopping center with major retailers like Nordstrom Rack, Crate & Barrel, and Chico’s. It also offers casual dining options and luxury accomodations courtesy of Hyatt Place Legacy Village. Another point of interest is the Acacia Reservation, a 156-acre park where the Acacia Clubhouse once stood. It features over four miles of trails, including a boardwalk and viewing deck that leads to a pond. Located near Highway 271, it is one of several parks and nature reserves that make up Cleveland Metroparks’ Emerald Necklace. Other green spaces include Brainard Park, which has several batting cages, tennis courts, and a pavilion, and Brainard Spray Park, which features a pool, zero-depth play area, and play structures.
